The interior of the new Ram 2500 is luxurious and marvelously crafted with precision. Buyers can opt for a three-, five-, or six-cabin configuration. Differences among the fabric types will vary across the lineup, but here is a better perspective. The Limited trim comes with leather upholstery, while the Big Horn and Power Wagon trims are outfitted with cloth. The brand's Tradesman trim offers heavy-duty vinyl as its leading upholstery. Filigree leather is available for the Limited Longhorn. Front-seat passengers have access to plentiful legroom. Natural wood and aluminum trim are inside the cabin to complete the overall appearance. The interior of the new Ram 2500 also has cubby storage and a split-fold rear seat, which allows you to take advantage of under-seat storage. There's also a large center console and in-floor bins.
The exterior of the new Ram 2500 is just as masterful as its interior. Up front sits a considerable grille with distinctive styling across the trim lineup. The grilles of the Rebel, Tradesman, and Power Wagon trims are blacked out. Its massive frame yields a muscular hood that's well-shaped with solid contours, but the rear end is streamlined. Distinctive badging is also present per trim choice, and large LEDs are carved in at both ends of the frame. Rugged bumpers are attached at the front and rear to complete the look.
Performance
Conquer more tasks and cover more ground thanks to the truck's advanced powertrain setup. There are two available powertrains, and they are both dedicated to delivering maximum performance. The first engine comes in 6.4 liters and will tow a maximum of 17,730 pounds. This V8 produces as much as 429 pound-feet of torque and 410 horsepower. Its payload rating comes in at 4,000 pounds. A 6.7-liter turbo-diesel engine generates 850 pound-feet of torque and 350 horsepower. It's possible to trailer as much as 19,090 pounds while managing at least 3,150 pounds of payload. Four-wheel drive models come equipped with Auto-Level Rear Air Suspension. Crew cab models have a 50-gallon fuel tank, which allows you to go the distance. Enjoy off-roading with the Power Wagon or Rebel trim because they're equipped with Bilstein Gas-Charged Monotube Shocks and 33 to 35-inch tires.
Technology
The new Ram 2500 has its share of tech features. Subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot lets your passengers explore the web by watching online content or visiting social media sites. The lower-end trims of the Laramie, Limited Longhorn, and Limited come with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, but the upper-tier trims offer a 12.0-inch touchscreen. Other features include turn-by-turn navigation, integrated towing technology, and a RamBox Cargo Management System.
Safety
